Diplo Language Suite — Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-06-02

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Diplo Language Suite product and all of its components: the Chrome extension (a Google Docs side panel), the WordPress plugin, the Google account integration, and the backend service (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Diplo Language Suite helps editors rewrite content (DiploWRITER) and monitor whitelisted sources for updates to their content (DiploUPDATER). Features and availability may change or be discontinued at any time.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. You must be authorised to connect any Google account or WordPress site you use with the Service.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by: attempting to gain unauthorised access; disrupting or overloading the Service; using it to process content you do not have the right to process; or using it for unlawful purposes. You are responsible for the content you submit and for ensuring you have the rights to it.

4. Google services

Use of Google APIs through the Service is also subject to Google's terms and policies. The Service's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software and trademarks, is owned by Diplo and its licensors. You retain all rights to the content you submit. You grant us the limited rights needed to process that content solely to provide the Service's features you request.

6. AI-generated output

DiploWRITER and DiploUPDATER produce AI-generated suggestions. Output may be inaccurate or incomplete; you are responsible for reviewing and approving any suggestion before relying on or publishing it.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will be accurate.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Diplo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time (sign out, remove the extension, or deactivate the plugin). We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
